We are pleased to announce the release of WooCommerce 6.5. This release should be backwards compatible with the previous version.
As always, we recommend creating a backup of your site and making sure that your theme and any other plugins are compatible before updating. You can check out this update guide for more information.
What’s new in 6.5?
- WooCommerce Blocks: We’ve updated to the 7.4.3 version of the feature plugin. See the release posts for 7.4.3 to see what’s new.
- WooCommerce Admin: All of WooCommerce Admin’s code and assets have been merged into Core and the feature plugin has been deprecated. These are the folders that were moved and the new location of the contained files.

Why it’s still showing 6.4.1 on https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/? Yesterday it was showing 6.5.0 as the latest version.

Hi there, we’ve discovered an issue shortly after the release so we stopped even more sites updating and potentially running into the issue. The issue is tracked here https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/32962 and is already fixed. We will do our testing and will release 6.5.1 very soon.

Excellent, Thanks for the update. It was giving me a feeling of time travel when I saw the 6.4.1 version instead of the 6.5.0
