Hi,
unfortunatly, I wont be able to attend, but I was wondering about the data storages and for example some usage of `WP_Query()` in the Shortcodes/Widgets + REST API for quering products.

E.g.:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/widgets/class-wc-widget-recently-viewed.php#L53-L86
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/class-wc-shortcodes.php#L86-L99

and I think here:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-rest-crud-controller.php#L306-L308
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-rest-posts-controller.php#L303-L351
if I am not mistaken.

Is this considered to be changed to query via the data storages?

Sorry for just bumping in with those questions, while not attending, but I saw this announcement a bit late 😦

Thanks for your great work,
David.
